Electric Pitches

Our campsite is open from 23rd May to 4th September 2019.

We are a small, quiet, family farm set in a beautiful natural environment.  We invite guests who enjoy a natural camping style and we do not accept groups.  We have a quite by 10.30 policy so that everyone can enjoy the tranquility and sounds of the wildlife.  We have deer, badger and fox regularly visiting the farm and you will see and hear many species of birds including hawk, owl and buzzard.

All pitches in this field include electric hook up, with hardstanding for Caravans, Motorhomes and Camper vans and tent pitches on grass.  We also have a camping field that has hardstand for Camper vans with electric hook up and non electric tent pitches on grass.  The Backpacker field for visitors without vehicles is adjacent to the Avon Water which gently ambles through the farm.  Unbreathable ground sheets are not permitted in awnings to preserve the grass adjacent to caravans for future guests.

Our toilet and shower facilities are not as posh as the large commercial campsites but they are fully functional and we pride ourselves of keeping them spotlessly clean and fresh for our guests needs.  The main campsite has free unisex toilets and hot showers in separate cubicles, chemical disposal point and dish washing areas.  In addition to our main toilet block we provide portable toilets and hot showers in the camping field during peak periods.  We also have washing up areas and a fridge for campers to use.

Dogs are most welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times and not be left unattended in units.  Owners must clean up after their dogs and deposit waste in the bins.  A dog walk runs adjacent to the site.

The train that trundles past the site during the day (not all night) gives visitors a great car free break.  Dogs and bikes can be taken on the train giving good links to explore local forest / costal villages, larger towns such as Southampton and Bournemouth or even the Isle of wight with a great cycle track from Yarmouth to Freshwater.

The peaceful enjoyment of our farm and its surrounding natural habitat is very close to our hearts and is dependent upon the courtesy and consideration of all our visitors.  As a small quiet family farm we do not tolerate inconsiderate behaviour.  We ask that all light and noise pollution be kept to an absolute minimum.

We stayed for 3 nights on this beautifully kept site on our way to the Isle of Wight. We had never been to Lymington before and we were not disappointed. The people who own the site were so welcoming and helpful. The site itself was spotlessly clean, and the grass immaculately kept. We would definitely recommend this site. The touring pitches are set well apart and so you have lots of space. Wildlife in abundance that kept us entertained in the adjoining woodland, and a brilliant dog walk. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
