Backpacker Field

This area is located next to the Avon water and is only used for backpacker tents.  Cars are not permitted in this field

We are a small quiet family farm site set in a beautiful natural environment.  We have deer, badger and fox regularly visiting the farm and you will see and hear many species of birds including hawk and buzzard.

We also have a camping field with hardstanding, electric hook up pitches for camper vans and small motorhomes (max 6 metre) and non electric tent pitches.

The main campsite has all electric pitches both hardstanding for caravans/motorhomes and grass for tents.  Toilets and hot showers (take 20p coins), chemical disposal point and dish washing areas.  In addition we provide portable toilets and shower (free) in the camping and backpacker fields.

Dogs are most welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times and not be left unattended in units.  Owners must clean up after their dogs and deposit waste in the bins.  A dogwalk runs adjacent to the site.

The peaceful enjoyment of our farm and its surrounding natural habitat is very close to our hearts and is dependent upon the courtesy and consideration of all our visitors.  As a small quiet family holiday farm we do not tolerate inconsiderate behaviour.  We ask that all light and noise pollution be kept to an absolute minimum.

We have just returned from a long weekend at Rushcroft Farm and would certainly recommend it to others. We went with another family and it was exactly what we hoped it would be - clean, quiet and just the right size. Our pitch was perfect, in a corner adjacent to another field, where our children could play and ride their bikes. They also enjoyed riding down to a little stream at the far end of that field and looking out for wildlife. The wardens based on the site were so friendly and extremely welcoming. They could not have been more helpful. Overall, an ideal base from which to explore the New Forest. Certainly somewhere we would stay again, without hesitation.
