Backpacker Field

This area is located next to the Avon water and is only used for backpacker tents.  Cars are not permitted in this field. Regretfully we are unable to accept groups exceeding two pitches.

We are a small quiet family farm site set in a beautiful natural environment.  We have deer, badger and fox regularly visiting the farm and you will see and hear many species of birds including hawk and buzzard.

We also have a camping field with hardstanding, electric hook up pitches for camper vans and small motorhomes (max 6 metre) and non electric tent pitches.

The main campsite has all electric pitches both hardstanding for caravans/motorhomes and grass for tents.  Free toilets and hot showers, chemical disposal point and dish washing areas. In addition we provide portable toilets and showers in the camping field.

Dogs are most welcome (maximum 2 per pitch), but must be kept on a lead at all times and not be left unattended in units.  Owners must clean up after their dogs and deposit waste in the bins.  A dog walk runs adjacent to the site.

The peaceful enjoyment of our farm and its surrounding natural habitat is very close to our hearts and is dependent upon the courtesy and consideration of all our visitors.  As a small quiet family holiday farm we do not tolerate inconsiderate behaviour.  We ask that all light and noise pollution be kept to an absolute minimum.

Small Tent Pitch without electric and no car (max 3.5 mtr x 2 mtr)

This field is for backpackers only, without electric and no cars permitted. A lovely quiet area which borders the Avon Water set in 3 acres with a natural bluebell wood its a perfect place to spot our wildlife. Deer, badger, fox and birds including buzzard visit the stream for a cool drink. If you are looking for a quiet retreat in natural surroundings this is the option for you, We do have a portable toilet and shower in this field for your convenience but you are welcome to use the block in the main site if you prefer.   More info, availability and booking...

"I parked on the hard standing and had a lovely view of the undulating area around. The campsite is 'lovingly' looked after by the owners and friends. The added bonus for me was the chance to feed the goats and their kids each morning and evening."
